The Nasty ZULU mixtape has been one of the most Anticipated projects of the year. Nasty C first hinted of the project late last year when he started using the hashtag “Zulu man with some power” on his social media posts.

Nasty C has come together with one of Hip-Hop’s legendary mixtape DJs, The legendary DJ Whoo Kid  to drop to drop this mixtape. Zulu dropped midnight (South African time) Thursday (25 June) and was an instant trend throughout different social media and free music platforms like YouTube & AudioMack.

ZULU is a dope project that I’m excited to drop. Working on this mixtape with DJ Whoo Kid has been great,” Nasty C told Complex. “It’s my first international mixtape collab. We put this together during lockdown, sending tracks back and forth and really got to know each other well during the process. I think our fans are gonna love it.”

The project features Mishlawi and Crowned Yung. Also featured is  T.I. who first joined Nasty C on the track ‘They Don’t’. ‘They Don’t’ addresses the social unrest that has taken over the world. This was the first time the T.I &Nasty C worked together and they performed the track together on Late Night with Seth Meyers. The pair also came together  on the project’s first track, ‘Poetry’.
