Idols runner up Sneziey recently signed a recording deal with Gallo Record Company. As part of celebrating the new partnership, Sneziey also releases a new single titled ‘Ungubaba’. The hit single is a remake of a traditional gospel song of a well-known hymn with new verses added by the talented songstress.
‘Ungubaba’ is a song of praise that speaks about God’s love and mercy to his children. “To me Ungubaba means the sustaining God, a Father who is indeed a promise keeper even in hard and confusing times he still takes care of us and is still GOD, no situation changes Him, I’d like my supporters to always remember ukuthi God is a promise keeper like he said in his word. He will never leave nor forsake us UNGUBABA UTHEMBEKILE NGASONKE ISKATHI” Explains Sneziey.
She has had quite the journey in her career, a clear display of her faith. From starting out as a backing vocalist, to now being a full-time artist with her own projects. In 2019 she took a leap of faith and entered Idols SA where she was the second run up. Since her run with Idols SA, her career has been taking greater heights.
Sealing a record deal at Gallo Record Company, with the release of her new single is another step taken to reaching greater heights. ‘Ungubaba’ is her second official single, post the Idols competition. She says She is mainly Inspired by her amazing grandmother, who has supported her every step of the way in her career. ‘Ungubaba’ is available for download and streaming on all digital music stores.
