Costa Tsobanoglou popularly known as Costa Titch has released the video for Nkalakatha remix featuring AKA and Ricky Rick. Premiered Feb 20, 2020, It took just 4 days for the video to reach over two hundred thousand (200 000) views.
The dancer turned rapper, is popular in with his dance crew, New Age Steez. He proved himself as a force to be reckoned with judging by the consistent songs he’s been dropping since 2017. His latest single ‘Nkalakatha’ is definitely his biggest hit yet with all the hype on social media, radio play and not forgetting scooping 2 giants to featuture on the remix.
The remix now has a music video, which displays some well-choreographed dance moves and urban fashion (clothing) trends. One of the videos major talking point is a dance move made popular by Cassper Nyovest and his best friend with the release of Cassper’s new song ‘Good for that’. With rival AKA being on the song and video of ‘Nkalakatha remix’ it was always going to be viewed as a crime for Costa Titch amd his crew for using the move on his music video, even though the move is not even a Cassper Nyovest original.
AKA along with the Bhovanation tried to defend the video by saying it originated in the states and did not originate with Cassper. Although his dance moves are not uniquely his, they were taken from the States, you could Cass was the one who introduced them to the music scene in SA.
