Kirk Whalum & Zahara have previously delivered great collabos together and they link up once again. Internationally renowned saxophonist and songwriter Kirk Whalum released his long awaited single ‘Now I Know’ featuring South African songstress Zahara on the 21st of August 2020. ‘Now I Know’ is taken off his latest 14 track album titled Humanite which was released in October 2019.
Zahara’s authenticity is picked up in her lyrical content which is empowered and self-actualised. A true meeting of great artist, the signature saxophone sets the tone for the heart felt emotions in the song. ‘Now I know’ is truly a relevant release during this women’s month.
This is not the first time Kirk Whalum & Zahara have worked together. They previously collaborated back in 2017 & 2018 for Zahara’s ‘Umfazi’ & ‘Ina Mvula’ respectively. Kirk Whalum previously described his experience of working with Zahara as a big hug, “She say her way into my heart”. ‘Now I Know’ by Kirk Whalum featuring Zahara is now available in all digital platforms.
