Bizzcuit is re-inventing herself with the music and she marks it with the drop of her new EP titled ‘Rebirth’. This follows the success of her previous EP titled ‘Birthmark’ that landed her a nomination for Best Female at the SAHHA 2019. She also won Best Female and Best Music Video at the ETTMA 2019 and a nomination for Artist of the Year at the 011 City Awards 2020.
Since then, the 26-year-old has been in studio cooking a masterpiece and could not wait for the world to receive it. Her new EP titled ‘Rebirth’ dropped in August (2020) and features the likes of Touchline, PDotO, Jay Claude, MusiholiQ and Don Trozo. The project marks the reinvention of Bizzcuit through her music as well as a label change. Having previously worked with 411 music for 10 years, Bizzcuit and her management decided to switch things up and work under their newly formed 4 seasons Productions.
Since it’s release, ‘Rebirth’ has been well received by the streets as well as the radio waves. One of the songs making waves is a track titled ‘TjovoTjo’ which features Kraizie & Snymaan. ‘TjovoTjo’ is currently sitting at number 1 on DJ Speedsta’s Absolute 5 chart on Metro FM. The music video for ‘TjovoTjo’ also just recently dropped and is already getting lots of love from the masses.
Bizzcuit expressed so much confidence and gratitude when she was asked about the project – “I believe I have grown in music and I would not be here today without the support I am receiving from everyone who believes in me. I can never thank everyone enough” she said.
Having started the year with thew drop of her music video for ‘mission’, it’s clear that the Rapper whose real name(s) are Tholakele Mkwanazi hasn’t let 2020 spoil her growth with the music. Part of that growth comes from the experience she had in 2018 when she had the privilege of working with the late HHP, who showed a lot of faith and confidence in Bizzcuit.
